When I pause or do anything that pops up the controls, all the lights light up at like 15%. But when the movie starts, all the lights turn off and stay off. When I scroll through my Movies, it changes the colours depending on the Posters. I can see that it works in the App iteslf. Amazon Fire TV + PLEX app errors EDIT: Fix found. On my Brother’s Chromecast with Google TV Plex seems to be the only thing that works perfectly so I was hoping it would be the same for Fire TV. But since I mostly use Plex, I hoped it would work. I know, that it can’t work with Netflix or similar due to the screenrecording restrictions. I use my Fire Tablet mainly to read books, but this is a nice addition.
Using PLEX I am able to watch TV and recorded shows and movies that are on my computer. There are two larger bugs, though, both of which occur on both of my two FireTV devices: -When streaming a Live TV channel, if you try to use the 'Recent Channels' function by hitting 'Down' twice, and then try to load a previous channel, the player always seems to crash. When using on my Fire Tablet, I notice battery seems to drain faster. I bought the addon and it seems to work (Most apps easily work with it), but It does not work with any movie. I downloaded the PLEX app on my ROKU, Fire tablet, and my Android phone.
Since I just got more Hue Lightstrips for my livingroom, I wanted to set up an entertainment zone to sync it via Hue Essentials. Hello! I’ve been using the Hue Essentials App on my Phone and Watch for a while and I love it.
