I had to go to the nearest APPLE store 60 miles away to get ******** uninstalled and ******* installed. Last year, when I upgraded to OS ********, I found out that it wasn't compatible with the software because it only recognized the pedal as a mouse. I am a Mac user and I find it extremely frustrating that no one seems to know which OS will work with Express Scribe software. However, this past weekend, I was finally able to complete work that had been waiting with a different application and had no trouble whatsoever with the pedal.
Since then, I have exchanged about 50 emails with various members of the **************** Team who have come to the conclusion that it is my pedal that is the problem. On November 27th I purchased an update for Express Scribe Professional which worked for a month and then crashed. Have made 5 support inquiries about it not A reply - which shows you what customers REALLY mean to NCH.I have been using NCH Express Scribe for about 4 years with a VEC Infinity IN-USB-1 / IN-USB-2 (USB) pedal. csv just in case.ĭON'T USE NCH SHIT SOFTWARE!! Cost me weeks of work when the Software crashed and made the project file unreadable.
If you are using NCH, make sure you back up loads and save everything to. I have switched to a different program while I rebuild my database and save what data I can gather. The technical support given has not yet solved the problem. its embarrassing and has cost me clients. I have spent days, weeks almost, rebuilding my database from on site paperwork and photographs of my computer screen with client lists, had to ask past customers for information. Not worth the money I paid.Every time I get it going, it sends dozens of statements to any client with an email in the list. It all crashes again when I leave the program. They cost me thousands of dollars in lost invoice data, program wont start with rebooting my pc, reinstalling the software and restoring the data.
